Cress C133 General Use Laboratory Furnace

The Model C133 General Use Laboratory Furnace is designed for the shop, laboratory or factory where temperatures from 300°F to 2250°F are required. This line of laboratory furnaces is ideal for applications that include heat treating metal, assaying and all types of testing.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLS: Auto-tuning microprocessor-based controller
ELEMENTS: High temperature iron-aluminum alloy wire elements are coiled and mounted on the side walls in porcelain plates.
The C133 has a bottom element mounted in grooves in the floor and are covered by a refractory hearth plate.
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: The Cress general use laboratory furnace, including the C136 General Use Laboratory Furnace, has a case constructed of heavy gauge sheet steel and is finished in gray hammertone. The furnace door is counter-balanced and pivots away from the operator when opening for safety purposes. All of the furnace walls and door are constructed of the finest quality insulating fire brick, backed by 1800°F block insulation. This heat treat furnace comes complete with cord and plug.
SAFETY SWITCH: These laboratory furnace models come equipped with a door safety switch. When the door is opened, elements are disconnected from the power source.
